Wimbledon 2026 - How To Get Tickets

Wimbledon Tickets to the Wimbledon Championships are extremely difficult to get hold of as demand far exceeds supply every year. Below you will find all possible methods of obtaining tickets.

Public Ballot : Ticketmaster : Queue on the Day : Queue Overnight/Camping : LTA Advantage Membership : LTA Affiliated Club : Hospitality Packages : Debenture : eBay Auction : : Resale Tickets : eBay Auction

Wimbledon Public Ballot

The public ballot is open for UK and International applicants. You will need to have have a myWimbledon account, ensure you enable Tickets & Ballots notifications and wait for updates.

Ticketmaster

Tickets will be available from circa mid-June and sporadically thereafter. Direct link:

The best option is to sign up to myWimbledon so you can be kept in the loop regarding ticket availability.

Queue on the Day

The queue starts within Wimbledon Park (off Wimbledon Park Road) and zig-zags up and down the park. See on map:

There are very limited numbers of Show Court tickets available (Centre Court, No.1, and No.2) so you need to queue very early to have any chance of securing one of these. Thousands of Ground Passes are also available but once these have sold there is a one-in one-out policy, so the earlier you get in the queue the better.

If you plan to join the queue in the evening/after work then you will usually get in within 1-2 hours. It's a great way to catch some live action on the outside courts or to watch a Show Court match on the big screen from Henman Hill while having a picnic with friends. Ground Passes are cheaper after 5pm too.

Queue Overnight/Camping

If you have been unable to secure a Show Court ticket in advance, this option gives you the best chance of obtaining one. See our full guide:

LTA Advantage Membership

If you have a paid-for LTA Advantage Membership, then you will have a chance to buy Wimbledon tickets, However, if you won't benefit from the membership in other ways, then we wouldn't recommend paying for it in the hope of getting tickets.

LTA Affiliated Tennis Club

If you have an LTA Advantage Membership and are a member of an LTA Affiliated Tennis Club then you can enter the ballot at your local club. Your chances of success here are significantly higher than via the LTA Advantage Membership.

Hospitality Packages

There is only one officially appointed Wimbledon hospitality agent who can provide the ultimate Wimbledon experience for you and your guests:

We first went on one of their "Wimbledon Championship Tours" in 1999 and it was superb so we would recommend them - and no we don't receive anything for recommending them.

Debenture

The serious money option. Wimbledon Centre Court Debenture at the last offering cost £23,150, while a No.1 Court Debenture would set you back £9,900. These figures represent the original prices for 5 year debentures, but as all debentures have now been snapped up you will have to contact Barclays Capital Limited or UBS Warburg who have a made a second-hand market for the sale of these debentures.

eBay Auction

Don't even think about it.

In previous years, the AELTC have threatened eBay with legal action unless they hand over personal details of all eBay members selling non-debenture Wimbledon tickets on eBay. As a result, eBay obliged and the AELTC have been contacting the sellers of such tickets threatening them with legal action and cancelling their tickets ever since.

Fake tickets, stolen tickets, blatant scammers, and having to pay inflated prices are also potential problems with eBay.

Ticket Tout

Buying from a ticket tout could result in many of the same problems as mentioned in the eBay Auction section above.

Ticket touts operate in the area from Southfields underground station along Wimbledon Park Road/Church Road and to the gates of Wimbledon. Just walking down there you will hear a number of people offering to buy and sell tickets.

Resale Tickets

You can only receive resale tickets via the Wimbledon App, so it is important that you to download it and create a myWimbledon account first.

If you already have tickets in advance of arriving at Wimbledon, you can join the Resale queue by locating a Ticket Resale kiosk within the grounds. They can be found:

  • In the Parkside area, near Gate 3 (Accessible)
  • Up by the top of Court 18, between Gate 17a and 18 on the map

If you plan to queue for Wimbledon tickets on the day then you can join the Resale queue while in the Queue Village (before you enter the grounds). A steward will scan you myWimbledon QR code (in the Wimbledon App) enabling you to fill out a form to enter the Resale queue.

A text message will be sent out when it is tour turn, and you will have a limited time to return to Ticket Resale to collect the tickets to your chosen show court.

Resale Queue - Registration Times

  • Ticket Resale kiosk inside the grounds: 10:00 to 14:30
  • Ticket Resale in Queue Village: 8:30 to 14:30

Resale Queue - Ticket Sales:

  • 15:00 to 21:00

Pro Tips

  • If you really want to get on a show court, make sure you join the Resale as early as possible
  • If you have tickets to one show court already, you can still join a queue for another show court
