Job Description

This role will be for a coach to specifically lead an already established, successful 11+ Performance programme. This will involve:

The planning and delivery of High Performance programmes for all relevant 11+ players within the programme. Including individual coaching, delivery of squads, tournament visits and individual player planning.

Delivering and assisting with the planning for relevant key players in our U10 Programme.

Working closely with the Head of Mini Tennis to ensure consistency of quality delivery in all aspects of the programme.

Working closely with the Head of Strength and Conditioning to ensure fluid links between players Physical and Tennis work.

Person Specification

Essentials:

Level 4 Senior Performance Coach.

Accredited.

A track record of having worked with Regional Training level players of 11+.

Reliability.

Desirables:

A playing level to be able to challenge U16 level Performance Players.

A high level of passion and enthusiasm for developing young athletes as both people and players.

The people/man management skills to be able to work with fellow coaches, players and parents in order to foster a team spirit of Hard Work, Respect and Enjoyment.

Venue Overview

Nuffield Tennis Academy is an 8 court 'pay and play' venue (6 indoor hard, 2 outdoor hard) in Hull, East Yorkshire, which operates a Performance Programme (11+ and U10), an adult programme and a development programme. It is based in the Nuffield Health and Fitness Centre, which boasts a fully equipped gym, 3 fitness studios, swimming pool with Sauna, Steam Room and Jacuzzi and a bar/lounge. Our successful 'performance programme' currently contains 3 GB internationals, alongside numerous Regional Training level players and numerous county champions, and has become one of the most respected programmes in the North of England over the past 10+ years.
